Fourteen Days Is Two Weeks Is a Fortnight

It’s Friday night, so I’ll keep this short.

Two weeks from tonight chapter one will be released. I’ve received some feedback from the preview and while it’s mostly positive, you will probably notice that the full chapter is slightly different.

Do not panic.

The difference will be purely in form, not content. (And I’ll fixing that disappointment we discussed earlier.)

So this really just serves as a general update: The prognosis is good!

We’re still on track, and there are a few new pictures over at the Happiness Index. You should check that out too. You know where it is. (And if you don’t, check the menu out at the top of the main page.)

Happy weekend all, and keep checking back for updates. You’ve all been great motivators, and though I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, “Thanks!”

Michael Ridge’s Happiness Index

Alright. I swore I’d come up with a few other hooks to make you want to come back to the site. I’m now showcasing the new one.

At the top of the page, you’ll see a link for Michael Ridge’s Happiness Index. Go there.

Note: By way of some explanation, Michael Ridge’s Happiness Index will be appearing in the story that’s unfolding here. (How meta is that?) It’s basically a photo site dedicated to pictures of index cards describing how people are feeling. This site is slightly more interactive as I will be taking submissions. Some of the good ones I’ll even share on this blog so you don’t have to go jumping all over creation just for me.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this new addition. Once I get more tech-savvy, I’ll try and make some of this stuff more user-friendly.

Until then.
